My passion is to encourage Christian leaders in the marketplace, the church, and the nonprofit world. Since 2007, this site has been the pursuit of that passion – by building leaders on God’s Word and helping them achieve not only success in their work, but joy in life and depth in their relationship with God.

I also enjoy working with leaders one on one, especially if they’re struggling under weight that’s too heavy to bear alone. Chronic conflict, board pressure, burnout, family challenges, grief, the “what’s next?” question … these things can be distressing for anyone, but particularly for leaders who need to stay at the top of their game.

I recently sold my tech media business after co-founding it in 2000. During my career, I’ve been involved in starting various organizations, ministries, nonprofits and industry events, and have published several books on Christian leadership.

I’ve learned many hard leadership lessons firsthand, whether in business or ministry. I’ve sat on nonprofit boards, served as an elder in my conservative evangelical church, and endured grief after significant loss. I’ve been a Christ-follower since 1994 and rely on him and his grace every day.
